These tiny color cameras measure in at less than 0.8” square! This ultra-tiny format camera series utilizes Sony’s ¼” SuperHAD CCD chipset, the latest in microelectronics, renowned the world over for delivering spectacularly vivid color pictures. Onboard DSP manages AGC, AWB for true color, and auto back light compensation. Camera circuitry employs DC-DC switching power supply chip that maintains crisp video throughout widely varying voltage (9- 15VDC) which can occur with long cable runs, poor quality power supplies, or even batteries. Camera has reverse polarity protection to give you piece of mind during installation. Camera series comes with your choice of one of three lenses, allowing this camera to find its home in nearly any surveillance, covert, or industrial application. The KPC-S20CB is provided with the industry standard 3.6mm precision glass lens with 92 degree field of view. The flat pinhole micro- lens with 90 degree field of view is offered on the KPC- S20CP3. Finally, the KPC-S20CP4 is provided with a super-cone 4.3mm pinhole lens, making it incredibly easy to install. These cameras come ready for installation with power cables, video cables, mounting bracket, mounting screw, and installation guide. Auto gain control (AGC) is a feature that allows the camera to automatically adjust the overall gain of an image to help normalize the output levels. As the lighting changes, the camera will attempt to keep the overall image at a consistent level of brightness. Auto white balance (AWB) is a feature in cameras that is used for color correction. Shifting lighting conditions can sometimes cause improper video coloration, and AWB attempts to correct this. Lux is the SI unit of illuminance, and in cameras is used to measure the minimum lighting required for the camera to register a usable image. A well-lit office area is about 400 lux. |
